Your turn to cook? Impress everyone with a personal chef.

We help you decide on a menu, we bring the food and cook on site. Then, we clean up, making it a relaxing experience for everyone. Enjoy yourself on the deck with your favorite drink instead of sweating over a hot stove. You're on vacation! This is fast becoming an alternative to the long waiting lines at restaurants that can't take reservations to accommodate large crowds. Stay home and enjoy your fabulous beach cottage with the views. The cost is $100 per hour for the chef plus assistant, plus the food and gratuities (sample menus are shown at right). We purchase the food but do not mark it up, it is charged at cost.

The deposit is $100 for 0 - 8 people or $200 for 9 - 16 people per night/day, and $300-up for larger crowds, based on the number of people accommodated. Try to make your reservation early, as our chefs are booked pretty fast.

So, have one meal, or a whole week's worth - no job too large!

Our executive chef, Franko Montesi, is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York. As a prior chef and restaurant owner for 25 years, cooking has always been his passion. And, like everyone else, he dreamed of moving to the Outer Banks.

Needless to say, being a personal chef here at the beach is not like a job at all - it's actually fun. Whether it's Franko himself or one of his other qualified chef's, you and your family will enjoy this treat!

We also provide outstanding catering for weddings, parties and corporate events.

Cancellation policy - 30 days advance notice, or deposit is forfeited.

SAMPLE MENUS

Below is just a sample of what you might like for dinner. We offer a 4 course meal consisting of: appetizer, salad, entrée with a starch and a fresh local vegetable, finished with a dessert of choice. Feel free to mix or match any suggestions or add your own. We can also prepare breakfast or lunch. All meals are prepared in your cottage and served as you like. We offer a host of desserts made to order and will work your menu to suit your taste. We can prepare more than one entrée. All entrees are served with a fresh local vegetable in season, and we organically raise most of the herbs. We prepare, cook, serve and clean up – all you need is your appetite.

Seafood

Mahi Mahi Provincial - sautéed Mahi with fresh herbs and vegetables in an extra virgin oil and white wine sauce, jasmine rice, mesclun green salad with red and yellow peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet onion, fresh herb vinaigrette.
Sauteed Local Grouper - with white wine fresh herb sauce pasta with extra virgin olive oil.
Seared Sushi Grade Tuna - with a wasabi ginger tamari sauce, jasmine rice with peas, fresh herb tomato salad.
Crab Cakes - with special herb butter sauce, basmati rice, and classic green salad with fresh herb dressing.
Baked Stuffed Giant Shrimp - stuffed with local crab meat and herb butter, jasmine rice.

We recommend any locally caught seafood and always prepare with extra virgin olive oil, fresh herbs and cooked to perfection.

Chicken/Poultry

Rosemary Roasted Chicken (bone or boneless) - with roasted potatoes and fresh rosemary.
Roasted or Baked Stuffed Cornish Hens -with herb wild rice and local fresh vegetables, and warm Brie salad.
Tropical Island Chicken - chicken marinated in fresh herb and spices with papaya, mango, lemon, limes, fresh ginger and garlic roasted to perfection served with jasmine rice.
Pan Seared Marinated Duck Breast - with garlic mashed Yukon gold potatoes, classic Caesar salad.

Other Meats

Filet of Beef - grilled or pan seared to perfection, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, classic Caesar salad.
Grilled T-Bone or Porterhouse Steak - with garlic herb butter, baked potatoes with sour cream and chives.
Grilled or Pan Seated and Roasted Lamb Chops - with a port wine sauce and salad of choice.
Pork Chops or Pork Loin Roast -with sweet onions and roasted potatoes, wine sauce.
Mexican Fiesta - salsa and guacamole dip with tortilla chips, refried hot bean casserole, hot beef taco’s with lettuce, tomatoes, Monterey jack cheese and salsa, margaritas.
